HC Deb 28 February 1945 vol 408 cc1360-1
17. Mr. Liddall

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Government have prepared a concise history of German nefarious activities, breaches of faith and crimes, civil and military, from 1933 onward, printed in German, for distribution throughout Germany immediately on the cessation of hostilities.

Mr. Eden

His Majesty's Government have lost no opportunity of bringing home to the German people the enormities for which their Government are responsible. I am doubtful whether a comprehensive report, such as my hon. Friend suggests, would achieve its object (amongst other things its length would present difficulties), but I will bear his suggestion in mind.
