§ 33. Lieut.-Commander Joynson-Hicksasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware of the handicap to their development imposed on police forces affected by the Orders made 2215 under the Defence (Amalgamation of Police Forces) Act, 1942, owing to the present temporary basis of such forces; and whether he is yet in a position to make a statement on the matter.
