§ 44. Mr. G. Thomasasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will now state the age of each of the persons sentenced to flogging after the recent disturbance in the Cardiff gaol; and the punishment meted out to the persons concerned.
§ Mr. EdeFour youths, of whom one was-aged 20, two 19 and one 18, received twelve strokes of the birch-rod. Two youths, of whom one was aged 17½ and the other just under 17, received nine strokes.
