asked the Minister of Health if he is now able to say what will be the form and amount of the housing subsidy to local authorities.

§ Mr. Bevan
This question is still under discussion with the representatives of the local authorities, who have asked that they should be given time to consider it.

§ Mr. Lipson
Could the Minister say when he hopes to be able to give this information?

§ Mr. Bevan
I had hoped to do so before the House rose for the Recess, but it now looks to me as though it will have to be afterwards.
