A practical process for synthesizing penicillin has not yet been evolved. As regards the second part of the Question, I understand that the British workers associated with the Medical Research Council and their American collaborators propose to publish available information at an early date.

Is my right hon. Friend aware that penicillin has already been synthesised by the "Daily Express"?
