HC Deb 11 December 1945 vol 417 c203
72. Major Symonds

asked the Secretary of State for War if his attention has been drawn to the report of the proceedings at Cambridge Petty Sessions on 29th November, when the look-out man on a tank was fined £5 for procuring dangerous driving on 22nd October; and will he now give effect to the comment of the chair man of the bench that the Army authorities should make it quite clear whether they were going to take responsibility for such dangerous driving or whether they were going to make the men understand they must not do it.

Mr. Lawson

I have no information on the proceedings at Cambridge Petty Sessions, but I have called for a report.
