§ 53. Mr. T. Macphersonasked the Minister of Food how far he expects to be able to obtain supplies of foodstuffs from the Asiatic territories of the U.S.S.R., particularly canned salmon and other canned fish, which in pre-war days were exported to this country in substantial quantities.
§ Sir B. SmithIt has not yet proved possible to resume imports of canned salmon or other canned fish from the U.S.S.R., inquiries are proceeding, but I cannot yet give any indication of when imports may be resumed.
