asked the Minister of Agriculture if he will arrange for the sugar-beet factories to be kept open for the acceptance of sugar beet from the farms of Norfolk for a sufficient time to ensure that the heavy crops which have been produced are not left on the farms and wasted.

The Government will do everything they can to ensure that sugar beet suitable for processing is not wasted.

Is the Minister satisfied that the periodic reviews that are taking place regarding the processing of this crop are satisfactory?
