§ The Prime Minister (Mr. Attlee)Research on the possible use of atomic energy will continue for the present to be carried on under the existing organisation known as the Tube Alloys Directorate of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research to which reference has been made in the published official statements. The resources made available will depend on the programme of research adopted, and this is now being considered.
