§ Wing-Commander CooperIf I am able to produce to my right hon. Friend specific examples, especially in the iron and steel industry, where the men's welfare or productive capacity is affected adversely, will he reconsider this matter?
§ Sir B. SmithI am always open to listen to any Member of this House who could afford me opportunities of improving any condition that exists under this control. Nevertheless, I want to warn the hon. and gallant Member that I cannot contemplate adding rations to the home or to industries outside the ambit of the special canteen provisions prevailing at this moment.
