§ 21. Flight-Lieutenant Teelingasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air how far it has been possible to send ground crews of the R.A.F. to tour the bombed areas of Germany; and whether it has been made possible for all members of the Dominion air forces in this country to make similar tours before returning to their dominion, as the U.S.A.A.F. have arranged for their ground crews.
§ Mr. StracheyWell over 15,000 men, including members of the Dominion air forces, have already flown over the bombed areas. It will not be possible for all the members of the Dominion Air Forces to take part in this scheme before going home, but I hope that many more of them will be able to do so.
§ Flight-Lieutenant TeelingWill the hon. Gentleman also realise that numbers of Dominion men and our own men will probably never get another chance, and, if it is possible, will he do his best to see that they do?
§ Mr. StracheyI am very anxious to do that.
