§ "to provide for the transfer to the Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of the borough of Newport (Isle of Wight) of the undertaking of the Newport (Isle of Wight) Gas Company; to confer further powers upon that Corporation with regard to their gas and other undertakings and to make further provision with regard to the health local government improvement and finance of the said borough; and for other purposes" presented and read the First and Second time and committed.
