asked the Minister of Supply whether he will now consider permitting a certain amount of sawn timber to be stored in the neighbourhood of docks and centres of transport in order to facilitate movement and reduce cost.

Yes, Sir. A certain amount of sawn timber is now being stored in dock areas and the possibility of extending this arrangement is under consideration.
