54. Mr. W. J. Brown

asked the Prime Minister whether he will consider arranging to send a Parliamentary Delegation to Moscow to convey to the Russian Government and the Russian people the sense of admiration and gratitude felt by the British people for the magnificent contribution of our Russian Ally to the cause of the United Nations.

His Majesty's Government have been in touch with the Soviet Government on this matter, and I hope to be able to make a statement in due course.
