HC Deb 25 October 1944 vol 404 c142
4. Lieut.-Colonel Sir Thomas Moore

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can make a statement on the present position in Hungary.

Mr. Law

No, Sir. I am not in a position to make a statement at the present time.

Sir T. Moore

In view of Admiral Horthy's frustrated effort on the radio, will Hungary be given a chance to work her passage home like the other satellites?

Mr. Law

I think we had better wait until we have an opportunity of making a full statement.
