Lady Apsleyasked the Minister of Information whether he is satisfied that the best documentary films and photographs showing the United Kingdom during this war and of the British Army, R.N. and the R.A.F. are being suitably stored and filed and annotated for future reference by historians and artists; and by whom and under whose care.
§ Mr. BrackenYes, Sir. Copies of these films are being carefully stored by the 156 Service Departments and by the Ministry of Information.
§ 32. Lady Apsleyasked the Minister of Information whether films are being prepared for presenting the English way of life to other members of the United Nations in exchange for theirs.
§ Mr. BrackenThe Ministry of Information have for a long time been making films for this purpose, and are always willing to assist other members of the United Nations to get their films a showing in this country.
