HC Deb 25 October 1944 vol 404 c141
1. Mr. Touche

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any steps are being taken against individual Italians who were responsible for gross violations of the Geneva Convention in the treatment of British prisoners of war.

The Minister of State (Mr. Richard Law)

Yes, Sir. Evidence on the subject has been, and continues to be received and appropriate steps will certainly be taken against the persons guilty of such violations. A number of them are already in our hands.
