asked the Minister of Fuel and Power what steps he is taking to secure the reorganisation of the generation and distribution of electricity; and when he will be able to make a statement of the Government's policy in this matter.

Proposals for the reconstruction of the electricity industry are being considered by the Government, but I am unable to say when I shall be able to make a statement on the Government's policy.
