§ 80. Mr. Manningasked the Secretary of State for War if he has considered the copy sent to him by the hon. Member for North Camberwell of a statement signed by Private P. C. Felton, of a unit of which he has been informed, in which this soldier, who has fought in seven countries, complains of being held down, having his arms and legs twisted, knees pressed into his back and his coat torn, of being placed in chains for upwards of 20 days and of being marched down roads in Belgium so chained; and what was the crime of this soldier which preceded these happenings.
