§ 69. Mr. Hugh Lawsonasked the Minister of Health what steps he proposes to take to encourage all local authorities to make use of their powers to supply essential furniture at cost price to the tenants of both temporary and permanent dwellings provided by the local authorities.
§ The Minister of Health (Mr. Willink)This matter will be dealt with in the memorandum on temporary houses which I propose shortly to issue to local authorities. I will consider whether any further guidance is necessary as regards permanent dwellings.
