Major Sir Edward Cadoganasked the Minister of Labour whether in his interim plan for demobilisation, he will take into consideration the early release from His Majesty's Forces of as many as possible of those who are enrolled as candidates for Holy Orders in the various religious denominations.
§ Mr. BevinRepresentatives of the Anglican and Free Churches are in touch with my Department on this subject, and they have been requested to furnish me with certain information, which will enable me to decide the extent to which early release of the men in question will be necessary, having regard to the numbers who will be released in their age and service order.
