asked the Prime Minister when it is intended to introduce legislation to put into effect the recommendations of the Speaker's Conference on the conduct and costs of elections and expenses falling on Members and candidates.

These proposals, together with the other proposals of the Speaker's Conference, are under consideration and a statement will be made as early as possible.
