§ 2. Mr. Rhys Daviesasked the Minister of Labour if he is aware that Fred Colbran, Eastbourne, was recently prosecuted by his Ministry for lateness at work; that he was fined; that the doctor who examined him had declared, in spite of the man's protestations to the contrary, that he was fit for work; that he collapsed at work; was that doctor employed by his Ministery to examine Colbran; what fee was paid; and what action has been taken against the doctor for his error in diagnosing the man's ailment.
§ Mr. DaviesCannot my right hon. Friend tell those doctors who are employed by him in examining these cases, to be a little more careful? There is no sense in telling a man to go to work if, on arriving there, he collapses.
