§ 35. Mr. G. Straussasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what action is being taken to appoint African representatives to serve on the Nairobi municipal council in accordance with the recent suggestion of the mayor of Nairobi.
§ Colonel StanleyThe Nairobi municipal Council has approved a proposal to nominate two Africa members to serve on the council, and the Kenya Government now has the proposal under consideration. An amendment of the law relating to municipalities is involved.
