HC Deb 28 November 1944 vol 404 c2379
23. Mr. Hewlett

asked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the ignorance which exists on the subject among soldiers at the front, he will instruct officers to issue the conditions governing the periodic dispatch of presents to relatives and friends at home.

The Secretary of State for War (Sir James Grigg)

The conditions in question have been published from time to time, but the publication of a comprehensive statement is being considered.
