HC Deb 16 November 1944 vol 404 c2100
27. Lieut.-Colonel Sir Thomas Moore

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many proceedings have been taken or charges laid against the drivers of Allied vehicles for driving dangerously or exceeding the authorised speed limits; and in how many cases have punishments been inflicted.

Mr. H. Morrison

I regret that the information asked for by my hon. and gallant Friend is not available.

Sir T. Moore

Is my right hon. Friend satisfied that the machinery at present in force is adequate to deal with dangerous driving on the streets, especially in London?

Mr. Morrison

That is another question.
