HC Deb 15 November 1944 vol 404 c1969
67. Lieut.-Colonel Sir Thomas Moore

asked the Minister of Information whether he can state the result of his discussions with the Governors of the B.B.C. in regard to the suggestion of the hon. and gallant Member for Ayr Burghs that selected back-bench Members of Parliament be invited to give weekly talks on current topics in Parliament.

Mr. Bracken

No, Sir. There have been no discussions. But the Governors were asked last week to consider my hon. and gallant Friend's suggestion, and I doubt not that they will do so.
