§ The First Lord of the Admiralty (Mr. A. V. Alexander)Copies of the official pamphlet on Emergency Recruitment and Training of Teachers are exhibited in the information rooms of all His Majesty's ships and naval establishments. Naval Education Officers have also been provided with a memorandum, giving information on suitable preparatory courses of study for men and women desirous of becoming teachers on release. The eight courses on Teachers' Training, included in the vocational correspondence courses open to all men and women, have been announced in Admiralty Fleet Orders. The booklet being prepared by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour and National Service on Release and Resettlement, which will be issued to all serving officers and men, will include a reference to the Teachers' Recruitment and Training Scheme.
