Major Sir Jocelyn Lucasasked the Secretary of State for Air if his attention has been called to the action of the Aljezur, Portugal, Council, in advertising for sale a Halifax bomber; whether this bomber is British property; and what action is being taken to prevent it becoming enemy property.
§ The Secretary of State for Air (Sir Archibald Sinclair)I am informed that the aircraft offered for sale in Aljezur is a crashed German aircraft. No Halifax bomber has been advertised for sale in Portugal.
