Chandler, 1944, 1 A.E.R., page 305, and the resulting hardship on tenants who entered into agreements not knowing that a tenancy for the duration of the war was void for uncertainty of term; and whether he will take steps to alter the law in this respect.

The question whether legislation is desirable is already under consideration.
