asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if the investigations regarding the repatriation, on an exchange basis, of British prisoners of war who have been three years in enemy hands have now reached a conclusion; and whether he can make a statement on the subject.

Yes, Sir. The investigation has been completed and as the result we have taken certain action regarding which I cannot yet properly make any statement. As soon as a statement can be made I shall be most happy to do so.
