§ 27. Colonel Burtonasked the Minister of Health whether he is now in a position to report upon his investigations regard- 1543 ing a man who was alleged to have been compelled to cease work and go into a public institution.
§ Mr. WillinkYes, Sir. My investigations show that the man was out of work at the time when he and his family were admitted to the institution, and that he was allowed to go out daily to look for work and accommodation. Any statements to the contrary that appeared in the Press were inaccurate.
§ Colonel BurtonWhile that answer is very satisfactory, may I ask the Minister whether he will see that similar publicity is given to his reply as was given to the allegation?
