I beg to move, in page 30, line 5, after "therefrom", to insert "with leave or."

These small Government Amendments are put down with a view to dealing with the case of a child who is a weekly boarder at a boarding school and whose particular circumstances were not covered. The three Amendments on the Order Paper deal with that point.

In line 40, at the end, add: (5) In this section the expression 'leave' in relation to any school means leave granted by any person authorised in that behalf by the managers, governors or proprietor of the school."—[Mr. Butler.]
