Captain Prescottasked the Minister of Fuel and Power, whether his attention has been directed to correspondence, that was placed in the possession of his Department on 26th January last, concerning the proposal to close the local fuel office of the Blackburn rural district; whether it is yet possible for a reply to be given to such correspondence; and whether, in view of the facts therein disclosed, he will direct that this office shall be allowed to remain open.
