§ 14. Major Nieldasked the Minister of Pensions how long it is taking to provide invalid chairs for repatriated prisoners of war; and whether the provision of these chairs can be expedited.
§ Sir W. WomersleyThere is no delay in the supply of invalid chairs where the ordinary type is suitable. There have, however, been two cases in which a chair of the lever hand-propelled tricycle type was required and these take longer to supply. There have been certain production difficulties but steps have been taken to overcome them and I hope that in the near future supplies will be available to meet all immediate needs.
