Sir Frank Sandersonasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport whether he can state the profits earned by the railway companies to the year ended 31st December, 1943; the amount which has been paid to the railway companies under the hire agreement; and the amount of profit which has accrued to the Treasury.
