7. Mr. Bellenģerasked the Secretary of State for Air to what extent volunteers for duty in the Shetland Isles have been asked for and what is the period of tour of duty in that station.
§ The Secretary of State for Air (Sir Archibald Sinclair)Airmen employed on ground duties have been invited to express a preference for service in the Orkneys, Shetlands and Western Islands. The normal period of tour of duty is 18 months.
