asked the President of the Board of Trade, whether, in view of the high prices now being charged for handbags for women, he will consider producing a utility handbag of standard pattern at a reasonable price.

Mr. Dalton

I will consider this possibility, but, in the present shortage of leather, any such handbag would have to be made of some other material.
