asked the Prime Minister whether he is yet in a position to announce the names of the members of the Royal Commission on Population and to make any further statement on the technical inquiries associated with it.

The Prime Minister

Yes, Sir. I will, with the leave of the House, circulate the names of the members in the OFFICIAL REPORT. The Royal Commission will meet for the first time to-morrow. My right hon. Friend the Minister of Health has appointed three Committees to assist the Royal Commission respectively on the statistical, the economic, and the biological and medical aspects of the inquiry. I will also circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT the names of the members and the terms of reference of these three Committees. The Secretary of the Royal Commission itself and of the three Committees is Mr. N. F. McNicoll, of the Ministry of Health.
