§ 61. Flight-Lieutenant Teelingasked the Minister of Information what were the sources of information of the B.B.C. for their broadcasts in Serbian to Yugoslavia, on 24th May, that King Peter had accepted the resignation of M. Puric and his Cabinet which includes General Mihailovitch when this had not taken place.
§ Mr. BrackenBefore my hon. and gallant Friend takes it upon himself to suggest that the B.B.C. have broadcast misleading information, he would do well to follow more closely the proceedings of this House. Had he done so on 24th May, he would have heard my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister giving the information which he now queries.
Flight-Lieutenant TeeingIn view of the fact that most Members do not seem to know what is being broadcast, would my right hon. Friend have placed in the Library copies in English of what has been sent out since 1st May?
§ Mr. BrackenMy hon. and gallant Friend has asked me a Question. He has attacked the B.B.C. for broadcasting a statement made by the Prime Minister in the House. If he cannot follow the Prime Minister's statements in the House 1357 I will send him an extra copy of HANSARD. His other question has nothing to do with that on the Paper.
§ Mr. ShinwellCannot we keep the right hon. Gentleman in Order?
