asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what progress he can report regarding the introduction of the secret ballot and the position of Income Tax in the Bahamas.

Legislation providing for the introduction of the secret ballot throughout the Colony will shortly be introduced into the Bahamas Legislature. No Income Tax is in force in the Bahamas.
