asked the Prime Minister whether he can now announce the personnel and terms of reference of the proposed Royal Commission on Equal Pay.

I cannot at present add to the answer given to the hon. Member on 19th July last.

Mr. Brown

If it takes us about six months to get a Commission appointed, how many years will it be before we get a report? Can the right hon. Gentleman not speed things up?

Mr. Attlee

I have already replied that I hope to make a statement before the House rises.

Mr. Brown

Yes, I know, but we do not get the information.
