Johnston)Housing needs must have prior claim on the limited resources in building labour and materials which will be available immediately after the war, but the question of suitable accommodation for tourists—whether by new provision or by the use of existing hostels and camps—will be fully and sympathetically considered. The Scottish Council on Industry is appointing a Committee to review all the tourist and holiday resources and facilities in Scotland, with a view to the development of the tourist industry.
