§ 28. Mr. John Dugdaleasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is now in a position to state what action the Government proposes to take on the Report of the Commission of Inquiry into the Constitution of British Guiana.
§ Colonel StanleyThe Franchise Commission has now reported and its report has been debated in the British Guiana Legislative Council, though I have not yet received any information as to the outcome of that debate. The recommendations are now receiving the Governor's consideration and I hope to be in a position to make a statement shortly.
