§ The Minister of Information (Mr. Brendan Bracken)"Union Jack" is a newspaper produced by the British Army Newspaper Unit, Allied Forces Headquarters, for British troops in North Africa, Sicily and Italy. "Stars and Stripes" is printed for United States Armed Forces under the auspices of the Chief of Special Services European Theater of Operations, Services of Supply. His Majesty's Government has no responsibility for any newspaper published in French for the benefit of the French-speaking community.
