§ Mr. EdenNo general conference has recently been held on Arab federation. I understand that consultations have been proceeding for some months between representatives of the various Arab governments concerned, but there is no statement that I can make on the subject as I have no responsibility for these consultations, though His Majesty's Government follow them with sympathy and interest.
