Major Lloyd GeorgeThe means to make available for mineworkers colliery houses at present occupied by families not engaged in the mining industry rest with the colliery companies which own the houses. My Ministry, through its regional offices, does, however, keep in close contact with the local offices of the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Health where difficulties in finding accommodation for mineworkers occur.
