HC Deb 29 February 1944 vol 397 c1229
1. Sir Herbert Williams

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he is now in a position to make a further statement with regard to the fact that Allied soldiers are able to purchase rationed goods, without coupons and without Purchase Tax, if the goods are to be sent by the seller to persons overseas; and will he take steps to terminate a practice which limits supplies to the civilian population.

The President of the Board of Trade (Mr. Dalton)

These facilities have now been withdrawn.
