§ The Partiamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade (Captain Waterhouse)The sale of clothing coupons is illegal, and all possible steps are taken to enforce the law. In the particular case to which my hon. Friend refers, the proceedings were taken by the Board of Trade. The defendant was charged at Nottingham, on the 17th February, with illegally transferring clothing coupons, and was convicted and sentenced to one month's imprisonment.
