§ 16. Mr. Bartlettasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what action the British Government have taken or propose to take on the Report of the Inter-Allied Committee on Post-War Requirements issued in June, 1943.
§ Mr. LawThis Report was presented to the Council of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration at its first session at Atlantic City by the Chairman of the Inter-Allied Committee on Post-war Requirements and is now under consideration by the Director-General 812 and the appropriate Committees of the Council. Action by His Majesty's Government will depend on their recommendations.
§ Mr. BartlettWill my right hon. Friend do what he can to speed up the operation of U.N.R.R.A.? Is it not a fact that this Report does require urgent decisions on such matters as the financing of supplies and so on; and is it not of the greatest importance that action should be taken as soon as possible?
